On November 16, “2019 Shanghai College Student Swimming Championship”, sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and undertaken by the Federation of University Sports of Shanghai and Shanghai Jiaotong University, was held at the Sports Center Natatorium on the Jiading Campus of Tongji University. The event attracted nearly 400 student athletes from 23 higher educational institutions in Shanghai.
To prepare for the event, the coach and players of the swimming team engaged in long-term on-campus land and aquatic training. After fierce competition on the game day, our students eventually won one gold medal, three silver medals, and three bronze medals, as well as multiple decent rankings from fourth to eighth. The valiant and heroic bearing presented by them in the event was a special tribute to the 107th anniversary of SHOU.
