On November 12-19, the intergovernmental consultation of the 74th General Assembly of the United Nations, regarding “The resolution on realizing sustainable fisheries according to The Agreement for the Implementation of the Provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of December 10, 1982 Relating to the Conservation and Management of Straddling Fish Stocks and Highly Migratory Fish Stocks and other documents”, was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. As entrusted by the Fisheries Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, professor Tang Yi and associate professor Lv Ming from the College of Marine Culture and Law of SHOU joined the Chinese government delegation, and attended the intergovernmental consultation under the leadership of the Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations.
