On December 27, the Strategic Research Forum for Ecological Protection in the Yangtze River, co-sponsored by the Strategic Research Center for Ecological Protection in the Yangtze River and Changjiang Conservation Foundation, was held at SHOU. Present at the forum were more than 70 experts, scholars, and students from the Yangtze River Valley Fishery Supervision and Administration Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Strategic Research Center for Ecological Protection in the Yangtze River, Hubei Changjiang Conservation Foundation, and many higher educational institutions and research institutes across the country.
The opening ceremony of the forum was directed by professor Pan Yingjie, Executive Deputy Director of the Strategic Research Center for Ecological Protection in the Yangtze River. Speeches were given by Wu Jiamin, Secretary of SHOU CPC Committee and Wang Liming, President of Hubei Changjiang Conservation Foundation; The documents were signed in the presence of experts by Li Jiale, Vice President of SHOU and Director of the Strategic Research Center for Ecological Protection in the Yangtze River and Wang Liming.
