On January 2, the Work Symposium of the Strategic Research Center for Ecological Protection in the Yangtze River was held on the SHOU Jungong Road Campus. Present at the symposium were leaders from the Yangtze River Valley Fishery Supervision and Administration Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, a president unit of the Strategic Research Center for Ecological Protection in the Yangtze River, and from SHOU, a vice president unit of the center. Our guests from the Yangtze River Valley Fishery Supervision and Administration Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs included Director Ma Yi; Deputy Directors Dong Jinhe, Zhao Yimin, and Huang Xiaofa; Wu Jianping, Director of the Office of Law Enforcement Supervision; Yi Yanrong, Director of the Office of Policy Planning; and Lou Weili, Director of the Office of Resources and Environmental Protection. Participants from SHOU included Wu Jiamin, Secretary of SHOU CPC Committee; Pan Yingjie, Tangyi, and Chen Tinggui, Deputy Directors of the center; related responsible persons of the College of Economics and Management, the College of Information Technology, the College of Marine Science, and the College of Marine Culture and Law; and teacher representatives of SHOU.
