On Nov. 23, the Society of China University Journals presented China University Outstanding and Excellent Science & Technology Journal Awards and many other awards, including 20 China University Outstanding Science & Technology Journal Awards and 254 China University Excellent Science & Technology Journal Awards. The Journal of Fisheries of China undertaken by SHOU won China University Outstanding Science & Technology Journal Award, and the Journal of Shanghai Ocean University sponsored by SHOU won China University Science & Technology Journal Award.
This election event aimed to continuously improve the academic influence and editing & publishing quality of university science & technology journals, and to objectively and comprehensively evaluate the quality and role of university science & technology journals in scientific research and academic exchanges. After being admitted under the premise of an editing and proofreading error rate of 0.03%, the candidate journals would receive strict comprehensive review by the judging panel consisting of dozens of review experts to determine their academic quality and editing & publishing quality; full-text databases, retrieval databases, evaluation institutions and other relevant evaluation achievements were also used for objective scoring and comprehensive election based on their academic influence and industrial influence.
