From August 22 to 26, 2016, as the members of the Chinese delegation, Tian Siquan and Hua Chuanxiang from the College of Marine Science participated in the 2nd meeting of the Committee and the meetings of the technology and law enforcement sub-committee, the meetings of the financial and administrative sub-committee and other related meetings of the North Pacific Fisheries Commission (NPFC) held in Tokyo, Japan. More than 60 representatives from China, Canada, Russia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan Province, and other countries and regions attended the meeting, and the United States, the Vanuatu Republic, FAO, etc. attended the meeting as observers.
