Five National and Provincial Humanities and Social Sciences Research Programs of SHOU Approved

Recently, National Planning Office of Philosophy andSocial Sciences, Social Sciences Division of the Ministry of Education andShanghai Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences successivelyannounced the lists of Programs Supported by National Social ScienceFoundation, Humanities and Social Sciences Research Programs Supported by theMinistry of Education and Programs Supported by Shanghai Planning Office ofPhilosophy and Social Sciences in 2016. The teachers of SHOU have been granted one Program Supported by National SocialScience Foundation, two Humanities and Social Sciences Research ProgramsSupported by the Ministry of Education and two Programs Supported by ShanghaiPlanning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences.

To be specific, the “Research on the Translation and Overseas Spreadingof Confucian Classics Written by Ku Hung-Ming” conducted by Huang Birong wasapproved as a General Program supported by National Social Science Foundation.The “Related Research on Emotional Labor and the Occupational Burnout of SocialWorkers” conducted by Wang Shang was approved as a Humanities and SocialSciences Youth Foundation Program supported by the Ministry of Education. The“Exploration and Practice of the Laddered Classroom of Ideological andPolitical Theory Course” conducted by Dong Yulai was approved as a Humanitiesand Social Sciences Special Foundation Program Supported by the Ministry ofEducation. The “Shanghai in the Sino-US Cross-national English Writing sincethe 20th Century” was approved as a General Program supported byShanghai Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences. The “Translationand the Identity Construction of the Translator - Research on the TranslatorGroup of German Literature in China (1949-1966)”conducted by Kong Weiheng wasapproved as a Youth Foundation Program supported by Shanghai Planning Office ofPhilosophy and Social Sciences.
