Currently, the OrganizationDepartment of CPC Central Committee announced 2016 Ten Thousand Talents listand Prof. Xie Jing of SHOU was elected as the leading scientist under theprogram, which is the first time that our professor is included in the TenThousand Talents Program list.
Prof. Xie Jing, a doctoral advisor,is among the first oceanographers of our university and winner of 2013 Shanghaileading scientist and 2014 special government allowance, and now acts as theacademic leader in Food Quality and Safety, the fifth key discipline announced byShanghai Municipal Administration of Education, competent person for FoodScience and Engineering, the second key discipline of Shanghai, and director offood green cold-chain laboratory jointly established by the central and local treasuries.
