On April 22, 2016, an expert panel organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology conducted on-site acceptance inspection of the State Deep-sea Fishery Engineering Technology and Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) built with assistance of Shanghai Ocean University.
Acceptance Inspection Meeting
Leaders and experts in the meeting heard the report on construction of the center, watched the construction video, and inspected the lab for fishing gear, lab for fish lamp research and testing, fish age assessment center, deep-sea fishery training center, lab for sea condition mode of global fishing, fishing remote sensing, GIS lab, and other research and service platforms. They also visited the exhibits of research achievements during the construction period. After serious discussion and enquiring, the experts acknowledged the achievements in the construction, and believed the center fulfilled the objective and task in the construction period, and met requirements on construction of the engineering technology center, so they unanimously agreed to accept the project.
