In the afternoon of May 6, Dr. Cheng Lingqiao from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology made a report titled the Mixing Process Study in Equatorial Waters of the Middle Pacific during her trip of academic exchange in SHOU upon invitation.
In the meeting, Dr. Cheng gave a detailed introduction to her latest research findings on turbulent mixing in equatorial waters of the middle Pacific, and demonstrated its critical role in the ocean current system in equator. After the meeting, Dr. Cheng exchanged views on relevant topics with the teachers and students present.
