On December 5, 2013, a delegation led by Dr. Jin Chenggui, president of Korea Maritime Academy visited SHOU, which consists of Choi , director of the branch of planning and propaganda, Zheng Mingsheng, director of the branch of Fisheries Research and Zhang Chunfeng, the specialized researcher.
The two sides had signed an academic exchange agreement on November 2006, and this time they conducted discussion and exchange on industrial competitiveness and policy research of aquaculture in South Korea and China, the status-quo of the aquaculture in China and South Korea, the development direction of aquaculture policies, the research on the joint fisheries management programs among China, Japan and South Korea, as well as Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations comparative competitive analysis and strategic consultation, which not only promoted the research and progress of the economic development of marine aquaculture, but also consolidated the foundation of bilateral cooperation.
